The
March 11, 2025 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was
called to order at 7:03 PM by Mike Mastracco, President.
Mike has Association window stickers if anyone wants one. Discount cards
for Advanced Auto are also available at the meeting.
Sad news to report – Gene Winfield passed away at the beginning of
March. He will be missed.
The Winfield Award given at the Nationals will be renamed the Gene
Winfield Legacy Award.
The Marcellus Crystal Ball Cruise will be May 17th.
They will need about 75 vehicles. Contact them if interested. See
attached flyer.

The 3rd Annual Town of Salina Veterans Car Show will be
Saturday, May 24th at the Town of Salina offices off Old
Liverpool Road. All proceeds
go to veterans. See attached

Two Thunderbirds (Baby Bird, Square Bird, or Glamor Bird) are needed for
the Fountain of Elms Invitational Car Show at the Munson Proctor
Williams Museum in Utica on Saturday, July 12th. If
interested, contact Nick Capparelli at 315-254-0518 or Ron Camp at
315-269-8939.
There will be no host hotel for registration at the Syracuse Nationals.
Registration will be at the NYS Fairgrounds between gates 6 & 7
(the gray lot). DeVerne
Breed’s garage was chosen as the Ultimate Garage for the location of the
2025 Syracuse Nationals Press Conference. Also, they will be partnering
with the Burnout Nationals and have a Burnout event at Esta Safety Park
Dragstrip in Cicero on Saturday, July 19th.
Antique cars (1920-1940) will be needed for the Hyde Hall Covered Bridge
event at Glimmerglass State Park on October 11, 2025.

The Treasurer’s
report was presented by Paula Stillwell and placed on file.
The Association
encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network.
Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming
legislation and how it impacts our hobby.

The 50/50 of $47
was won by Mike Szaraz of the Tappet Twirlers Car Club, and he donated
it back to the Association.
